The Inside Story
In 2019 I opened a cafe in Leith, Edinburgh. Soon after opening the baker left us. With no cake baking experience and in totally desperation I reached out to the God of my Christian faith in prayer. I had a peace-filled response that everything would be okay and that He Himself would guide me through the learning process.
During lock down in 2020 we received several brownie postal orders and we shipped our sweet treats across the United Kingdom. Now, almost 4 years after in 2023 with our own original recipes and we are delighted to present The Brownie & Blondie Shop.
Our brownies & blondies taste great, look good and are always well received and deeply appreciated by your loved ones. We especially love to help you send well-wishing messages to the special people in your life.

Our Brownies & Blondies

 


Handmade, fudgy dark chocolate brownie and butterscotch blondies dressed with an exciting selection of toppings. These sweet treats are made in small batches to ensure we get the perfect balance of taste and texture every time.

 

Great for sharing

Each brownie and blondie is approximately W 7 cm x L 4 cm x H 2 cm. This is a great size and can be cut in to smaller bite-size pieces when you receive them...so great for sharing!

We offer you a personalised greeting note service . You can also add celebration candles and balloons to the box of treats.

Ordering and delivery 

  • If we receive your order before 2pm on a weekday (i.e. Mon to Fri), we prepare your order on that day and post it the following day.
  • Date sensitive postal orders: We highly recommend you place your order at least 7 days before the date you would like your letterbox brownies and blondies to reach their final destination. This is particularly important during festive seasons.
  • Courier service: The tracked courier service aims to deliver with 1 to 2 day from the time the postal order is dispatched. This might extend to 3 - 4 days during peak festive seasons such as Valentine's week and Christmas time. A courier fee of £3.95 is charged per box. 
  • Packaging: Our brownies and blondies are wrapped in food safe cellophane, padded with recycled shredded paper, packed and sealed in a Kraft postal box. 

 

Shelf life

  • The brownies and blondies can be stored in the fridge for up to 14 days.
  • We recommend you place them in an air-tight container or zip lock food bag to stop them from drying out.
  • You can freeze them for up to 3 months. When you are ready to serve them, thaw them and consume within a day.
